DEPUY ORTHOPAEDICS FINALLY RECALLS DEPUY ASR HIP REPLACMENTS DUE TO HIGH REVISION RATES

DePuy Orthopaedics has finally recalled its DePuy ASR hip replacement Acetabular cup implant. In July 17, 2010, postings on the FDA website, DePuy recalled its ASR 100 and 300 series Acetabular hip implant cups sizes 44mm to 70mm. FDA Recall Nos. Z-2031 through Z-2059-2010.
